On March 22 2012, it was announced that Bruno Mars had signed a worldwide publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis US.Bruno Mars told Billboard that his second album will be called Unorthodox Jukebox and that it was released on December 11 2012. Bruno Mars also announced that the lead single would be called "Locked Out of Heaven", which was released on October 1 2012. Along with announcing the album title and lead single, Bruno Mars announced the other 9 songs of the album.
